Πέρασα… / I Went Trhough… (2017-2018)

Music – Poetry performance based on the work of the Greek poet Kiki Dimoula.

Using Dimoula’s words as a starting point, a dichotomized poetic and symbolic world is created, which allows the exploration of the themes of memory, absence and solitude. Through text, music, song and video projections, the personality of a woman is divided into three aspects each existing in a different realm – symbolic realism, surealism and poetic abstraction. Πέρασα… is a bittersweet journey into a woman’s memories of her past life seen through these three different lenses of her psyche.
The performance toured through Greece and Cyprus.

“Έζησα,
τεντωμένο δίχτυ από κάτω,
να σώζω λυπηρότητες,
κραυγών αποχρυσώσεις,
αιχμών τα φωτεινά υπολείμματα,
εξαφανίσεων αιχμές.

Αυτό δεν θα τ’ αγγίξετε.

Είναι από εύλεκτο εγώ,
θα με τινάξει όλη στον αέρα σας.”
