Kadyrova Street

Sound Design for the short film “Kadyrova Street”, by Aziza Kadyri. A combination of 8bit sounds, drones, electronic trip-hop and spoken text.
By emphasising the complexity of the director’s relationship with Moscow and Tashkent, the film explores the stereotypes young Central Asian migrants encounter on daily basis.
Created during the COVID-19 lockdown.
